Madison Area Craft Beverage Producers is a trade association of local makers of high-quality beverages located in Dane County, WI and its surrounding areas. We use our collective knowledge and resources to guide consumers toward supporting local in their choice of drinks and social settings. In addition to shared marketing and event development, our producers also share information and expertise, supporting consistency and excellence in quality among member organizations.
Known colloquially as “Mad Bev”, our collective began as an informal monthly meeting of beverage makers seeking community. These meetings served as an opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and camaraderie among like-minded local business owners and employees. Aspirations of more formal goals and organization came later when members voted to form a trade association. Accomplishing this goal gave our group greater power to operate as a true collective, furthering our mission of promoting local, high-quality, craft beverages.
